DIRECTORS / RODRIGO SAAVEDRA

Rodrigo Saavedra is a film & commercial director based in São Paulo, Brazil.

He has shot campaigns for clients such as Budweiser, Stella Artois, Volkswagen, ESPN and Ford, and has been officially working as a director since July 2013.

Previously he worked as an advertising creative for10 years. During those10 years he initially worked as a an art director, then as a copywriter and eventually as a creative director.
He worked for agencies such as:
Mother London, Wieden&Kennedy Amsterdam, Santo Buenos Aires, Africa São Paulo and WCRS London.
During his time as a creative he managed to win a few awards – for example Cannes, ONE Show Entertainment, BTAA and Campaign Big Awards. In October 2014 he won his first award as a director, best direction at the El Ojo festival, for my Chivas Short Film.
For Scrabble he went international - as "Ad of the day" in several countries and even the TIME Magazine wrote about this awesome commercial.

So it seems like Rodrigo is such a nature talent with a great future as director - also in Turkey, because the fact that he has Turkish family makes him understand the thinking.
